Aspendale Farms proudly presents PJ Prophets Higher's 2007 Foal Crop...

Sorrel Filly by PJ Prophets Higher out of Amber, a TB mare, born April 17, 2007.  Amber was sold to Mary Munroe in early 2007, in foal to our stallion.  She was kind enough to send us photos of Amber's new filly.  Congratulations Mary and Amber on a gorgeous, healthy filly!

2 Lenny foals 2 fillies so far...

"Jane" was born April 19th at 11:30 pm.

Update: Unfortunatley, we lost Janie when she was 4 days old.  We have not yet determined the cause, she was doing well, then took a turn for the worse.  We, and our vet did all we could to save her, but she just was not strong enough.  This is the first foal we have ever lost, and it's been difficult for us, but especially hard on Roxy.

Eddie, a bay colt, was born at approximately 6:00 p.m. on April 26.

Peanut had some very serious complications with the birth, and despite extensive veterinary care, she passed away on April 27.  We are devastated by her loss, she was an incredible mare, and despite her own pain, she looked after her baby until the end, ensuring him the best possible start in life.  We thought Eddie would suffer ill effects from the difficult birth, but he is as bright and energetic as any foal could hope to be.   We are raising him ourselves and he is doing great.  He will not be for sale, as he is all we have left of his mother, who was very special to us.  We think he is going to grow into a really nice horse.  He's straight and correct both front and back, and runs like the wind.  Even with all the sadness here of late, he can bring an instant smile to our faces.

Reba - Born May 29, 2007 - approximately 2:00 am

Reba is by Lenny out of our mare Iza Impressive Gal (Zoe).  She is a lovely sorrel filly with a blaze, no other white.

Red Dun Colt - May 30

Lotties Double (Lottie) foaled a gorgeous red dun colt.  He's got really unique and flashy markings with a ton of dun factor markings.  He's really big boned, and is going to be a big boy, both parents are big and stout halter bred horses.
